For Guardians and their Beloved Animals
Cosmic Offerings
One who offers support in the transition of a beloved.
What is a Death Doula?
THE PROCESS OF DEATH IS OFTENTIMES PUSHED AWAY AND AVOIDED IN MODERN CULTURE…..

TORA TROOP
Shamanic Animal Death Doula
The loss of a pet can feel even more isolating as the depth of relationship we have with our animals can sometimes be misunderstood. For many people, myself included, our beloved animal companions are trusted confidants, steady, grounded beings who bring deep connection and relationship to our lives.
Facing the death transition of our animals awakens grief and heart-opening emotion. But it doesn’t need to be a process you walk alone.
As a shamanic animal death doula, I offer compassionate support through the death transition by honoring the unique path that you and your animal have walked together.
At any point in the process – an imminent death transition, after a sudden, unexpected loss, or in the time leading up to the death threshold – I am here to be an ally to your animal and yourself.
I see your grief. I see your heartache. I feel your deep emotion. I understand your peace, celebration, or relief.
SERVICES CAN INCLUDE:
Creating a plan for end-of-life care that places comfort and dignity at the forefront
Compassionately initiating grounded, safe conversation about death
Building context and understanding for the dying process and euthanasia
Assistance in exploring options available to a guardian and their pet
Providing shamanic ritual in session, and/or empowering you to create your own rituals to honor the Life of your pet, especially after their death transition
Animal communication for connection and understanding
Supporting you and your other animals in the grief process
I am here to walk the journey alongside you and your animal, bringing the sacredness of death in through the front door and embracing it with a grounded Heart.
Thanks to the resources available to us now, I can offer this support to you wherever you are in the world.
Disclaimer: I am not a medical or psychiatric professional. The support I offer as a shamanic animal death doula is not meant to replace the guidance and support of your pet’s veterinarian and medical team, or that of a trained mental health professional.

Death ceremony has been an important part of human culture throughout history. This work calls this medicine back to the space for any who wish to seek it.
Losing an animal is often a deep encounter with the death process, and a profound invitation to connect to the cosmic threads that run between your heart and every heart who’s ever come to walk alongside you.

Preparing the Table for Death’s Visit – Consults & Planning
-
Planning for the death of one’s pet is just as valuable as planning for one’s own passing. Creating a care plan allows you to make decisions with a clear and grounded heart and mind. It can help eliminate emotionally charged decisions in crisis that can feel abrupt or unaligned.
With this service, we will enter this space together and create an advanced care plan for your pet. We will discuss your boundaries for their care and quality of life, explore and compile resources, and services. We can also integrate ritual to the space we share, and to the plan you build for your pet. My goal is that you leave our sessions feeling heard, empowered, and comfortable with the plan that has been created for your beloved pet.
-
This package includes a total of 3, 1-hour sessions conducted via Zoom.
Our first session will be opening the space, speaking about your beloved pet, and understanding what you would like to include in your pet’s advanced care plan
The second session will be a review of the resources, services, and rituals we have both compiled after our first meeting together, and beginning to put the plan together.
In our third session, we will go over the completed advanced care plan and make any necessary adjustments. We can also focus on the rituals you would like to create. We will close our time together with a closing ritual.
